IX. International New Media Conference: The Age of Digital Platforms


Abstract Submission Guidelines
For abstracts submitted to our conference (December 3-4, 2026) to be included in the evaluation process, they must be prepared in accordance with the structural and technical rules specified below. Abstracts must be submitted in both Turkish and English.

1. Structural Rules
Abstracts should clearly demonstrate the academic contribution of the study and must include the following elements:
  • Problem Statement: The core problem, issue, or area of debate addressed by the study.
  • Objective: What the study aims to achieve.
  • Methodology: The research design, data collection tools, and analysis techniques used.
  • Expected Findings: The primary results that the research has reached or anticipates reaching.
2. Technical Format
  • Word Limit: The abstract text (excluding the title and keywords) must be between 250 and 500 words.
  • Keywords: A minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 keywords must be added below the abstract text.
  • Font: Cambria, 12 point, 1.5 line spacing.
  • File Format: Submissions are accepted in .doc or .docx formats only.
3. Author Information
  • Author Info Format: The identity and contact information of the authors must be provided as a footnote at the bottom of the first page, following the exact sequence below: Title, First Name, Last Name – Affiliation/Institution – E-mail Address – ORCID Number
4. Interdisciplinary Scope

Our conference is open to studies from almost all fields of social sciences, provided they are relevant to the main theme of "The Age of Digital Platforms." There are no discipline-based restrictions on topics.
